Stone of Cooperation
Vesuvianite, also known as Idocrase, occurs as tetragonal crystals in skarn deposits and limestones that have been subjected to contact metamorphism. It was first discovered within included blocks or adjacent to lavas on Mount Vesuvius, hence its name. May be cut as a gemstone.
According to New Age Therapists Vesuvianite aids in overriding egotistical controls, overriding ones life allowing one to make realistic decisions based on intellect. Leads one on a path to reach ones heart’s desires. It stimulates inventiveness and the urge to discover, linking this into creativity.
